On October 17th, at 7:20pm, Audrey Rae Alexander entered into the world. I'll post a detailed blog later when I'm not so tired, but for now please feel free to join me in an On-Line Prayer (OLP):
Lord God, we thank You for the miracle of little Audrey. You protected her in the womb and brought her into the world safely. Thank You for also taking care of Gina; both during the pregnancy and through the birth process. It's an amazing testament to Your design that her body was made perfectly to bring Audrey to us. Your grace has brought us this perfect little girl, and we give You thanks. The joy we experience with Audrey will bring us closer to You and add a new depth to our understanding of love: this too is by Your design and through Your grace. Thank you also for the support of Family and Friends through this wonderful but trying time. The prayers and help of our support group have been amazing, and we ask that You continue to bless their lives.

Amen to that! Though, I'm pretty sure that God likes to see pics posted of his creations... you should get on that, you know, to complete the prayer.

Congratulations on your little girl! I love her name, it's beautiful and it has a great meaning, too, which is a big deal for me. I'll try not to be peeved that this means I'll have to cross it off my favorites list--since we plan to move to your area soon, I think we better find something else to name our daughter if we're blessed wth one. A Gina and an Audrey in both of our families would probably confuse Arwen. Uh, I mean Jones.
I'm really excited to see pictures of your sweet girl! But I'll try to be patient and wait till you get some sleep--or at least till you're functionally numb! Take heart, the first 5 or 6 days are the toughest, you'll feel like an old pro by this time next week.

Congratulations on this miracle, I am glad that you have been blessed in this way and hope that we can continue to get to know each other...and now that I've been properly mushy.. show us some freaking pictures boy!!!! just kidding
God we ask that you provide CandG with sleep, rest, and the opportunity to enjoy and relish every single moment during this special time at home. And keep Audrey healthy and fat.
